I credit the warmth and personality in my work to my New England upbringing and creative family. I’m a native of Maine, graduated from Rutgers and recently completed my masters at Babson College. I started my career in Manhattan, working in the finance sector and later moved to Boston with my husband to continue my career in finance and strategic corporate planning.

In 2012, my family and I suffered a tragedy when my husband Jim was killed in an accident.  At the time, Jane and Riley were in elementary school, aged five and nine.  The outpouring of support from the community was unbelievable and I am so grateful for this support.

My home is an1860’s colonial, restored meticulously with my husband.  Spending time in our home without Jim was sad, lonely and quiet.  The house was always a gathering spot for good friends, company and laughter and I sought to bring happiness and laughter into my home again.

Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present     Jim Rohn

Surrounded by supportive family, community, and two amazing children, I applied for and was accepted into the MBA program at Babson College, making friends and meeting colleagues from all over the world.   I also began to make small changes to my house through beautiful accessories, warm colors and vibrant fabrics.    We all began to feel more comfortable again in our home.

We still miss Jim (husband, daddy and friend) every single day.  I understand in a very real way that things can change in an instant and the importance of living life in the now.   I am passionate about textiles, one of a kind antiques and interesting and hard to find treasures.    I celebrate spending time with my amazing children, friends and family and helping out in my community.
